Super Easy Leaf Sensory Bag For Babies
Ahh! It finally feels like fall here in Minnesota and I’m SO excited. In addition to all of the pumpkin spice lattes, I’m also looking forward to fall-themed fun with my kids.
I thought that it would be great to start with a simple leaf sensory bag. You can just use household items to create the bag and it only takes 5 minutes to make! Here’s what we did:
We went out in our backyard to find the best leaves for our sensory bag. Our daughter enjoyed the leaf hunting which was an activity in itself.
We made sure we had different types of leaves ranging in different colors. We also included crunchy leaves which would be fun for our 4 month old to hear and feel the crunching noises.
Once we had enough leaves, we sealed the leaves in a Ziploc bag, taped the bag to our hardwood floor and watched our four-month old enjoy slapping and crushing the leaves.
This is such an easy and free activity. I hope you enjoy it as well!
